Pakistan Finalizes Squad for AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers in Saudi Arabia

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has officially announced the final travelling squad for the upcoming AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers, set to take place in Saudi Arabia. After weeks of preparation and training in Islamabad, where a preliminary squad was assembled for rigorous sessions, the PFF has trimmed the roster to its final selection of 23 players who will represent Pakistan on the continental stage. Last week, newly appointed Head Coach Nolberto Solano arrived in Islamabad, where he joined the team and began overseeing training and preparations. Here is the final squad:

Forwards:
Mckeal Abdullah, Umair Bahader, Furqan Umer, Ali Raza, Suleman Ali, Adeel Younas

Midfielders:
Tufail Khan, Hayyan Khattak, M. Junaid, Ali Zafar, Adnan Justin

Defenders:
Haseeb Khan, Mohib Ullah, M. Adeel, Ans Amin, M. Haroon, Hamza Munir, Ahmed Salman, Junaid Shah, Abdul Rehman

Goalkeepers:
Adam Najeeb, Hassan Ali, Umair Arooj

The players have undergone extensive training and tactical drills in Islamabad under the supervision of the head coach Nolberto to prepare for the challenge ahead. The Green Shirts will now travel to Saudi Arabia, where they will lock horns with other Asian nations in hopes of securing a historic qualification.
